The years of struggle against terrorism in the inaccessible area between Pakistan and Afghanistan has led to more than one million people on the run. Houses, schools, businesses and hospitals have been razed to the ground in the tribal areas between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Against the tide, Mohammad Ashraf Khan tries to bring health care and education back to an area where no one believes that there will ever be peace again. Four times his hospitals were razed to the ground by bombing and attacks. This project deals with the operation of a large hospital on the border with the tribal areas and the construction of numerous small hospitals in the tribal areas. Despite all the opposition and setbacks, Doctor Mohammad Ashraf Khan tries to give thousands of people access to health care again and we will help him with that.
