Edukans project funding focuses on projects in the field of education, generally speaking: on accessibility, quality and relevance of basic education. Target groups are underprivileged children and youngsters who (for various reasons) lack the knowledge and life skills to come out of the vicious cycle of poverty and underdevelopment.
Impulsis
Impulsis is a Dutch initiative of Edukans, ICCO en Kerk in Actie. More and more people are working on a world without povery and injustice. They spend time, money and energy to this ideal are involved in a non-governmental initiative in the area of international cooperation. In this way, they not only reach people in development countries, but also strengthen the supporting area for development cooperation in our society. At Impulsis, foundations, schools, entrepreneurs and companies, associations, churches etc. are welcome for support of their development project.

"De Meerpaal" (The Bollard) symbolizes a quit place in the harber. Just a docking place to come to rest and getting back on the rail. Homeless shelter/house, Youthwork, kindergarden, Walk-in house, (conference) room rental, in a 400 years old building.
